Curley Says “I’m Sad Because of What Large Farmers Do To Piglets”
“Saturday we had to call the vets out for an emergency call. The piglets didn’t want to get up and we were concerned as they had several things going on. The sunburn from the people leaving them out in the sun til Mommie Janet and Auntie Mindy got there, some respiratory issues (probably from the sunburn), knots on their necks and the fact they were fresh cut. We didn’t want them to get an infection. Dr Wilhelm was on duty this week-end, she’s nice (she’s my vet.)”
“The knots on their necks were abscesses from where they got shots and probably didn’t change the needles between piglets. Ugh, I’ve had shots and they always change the needles.”
“They also didn’t get quite everything when they “cut” Poncho so Dr Wilhem will take care of that too.”
“I told Mommie Janet it’s hard to like people sometimes. She assured me there’s a lot of good people too. One’s that love animals and take care of them.”
“While they were here the vet looked at Danny too and as you can see he got an attitude when Mommie Janet put him in the stall. He’s having problems with his back hip and I heard them say he’s old and that they need to do what they can and make him comfortable. I know Danny’s regular vet is coming out this week also to look at him.”
“I promise I’ll put some happy pictures on later.”
Thanks for the update Curley. I agree with you, sometimes things just don’t make sense.
So thankful you are with Mommie Janet and Auntie Mindy…and all of you have them to take such good care of you.
Sending {{{HUGS}}} to Lefty and Poncho. Your good doctors will fix you right up. Hope you both feel better soon!
